Founder & Owner

Why start/run a women’s gym? I’ll answer this below.

Hi, my name is Louis Dipietro, and I started the New Vision WF journey 10 years ago because of 2 main reasons. One:  The passion I had for the gym, especially weightlifting, and educating others to improve in this area. Two: I wanted to own my own business but own something that serves and helps others.

With now over 10 years of experience in health and fitness, it’s safe to say the love for helping people is still a massive drive I have in my life.

Now what you’ve been waiting for – Why start/run a women’s gym? Well, I wanted to create a safe, fun, and comfortable environment for women to improve their physical strength & body composition in the area of weight training, nutrition education, and improving healthy habits.

Over the years, I’ve seen misinformation about what women should do for weight loss and building muscle. Too many beliefs in this industry have led women to only do cardio to lose weight, or they must cut out carbs to lose weight, I’ve even seen – don’t do weights, they make you too bulky.  This fired me up to change this belief system for the women in my community!

I also work alongside an incredible team with my fiancé helping reshape the belief around what women should and can do to see long-lasting incredible change in their health, physic, and mindset! We have now helped 1000’s of women achieve just that.

Louise Hanson

Head Coach & Personal Trainer

Hi, my name is Louise Hanson and I’m the head coach here at New Vision WF.

I’ve now been part of the family for 3 years and haven’t looked back. The environment and community here are incredible, empowering, and inviting to all women.

I love teaching strength training and seeing the girls improve their physical strength and performance. I also love getting my heart racing, sounds crazy but I believe I’m the only one here that loves burpees! Haha

On my Journey, I’ve reduced my weight by 30kilos and haven’t looked back since! This has helped me become a better wife and mother to my 3 kids as now we are more active as a family. Being a better role model is a massive focus of mine as I don’t want my kids to grow up with unhealthy habits and having a girl I just want her to look in the mirror and love what she sees.

It hasn’t always been an easy journey for me having knee surgery after doing my ACL about 2 years ago but because I built strong habits previously to my injury it helped me work around it and persist even though it was challenging! Trust me sitting down and eating ice cream in front of Netflix would have been a lot easier and much more appealing.

My journey has driven a passion in me to become a PT to help other women in our community believe in themselves and that they can achieve anything they put their minds to! You’re not alone I’m here to help!

Sarah Lombardo

Coach & Personal Trainer

Hi, my name is Sarah Lombardo, and I’m one of the transformational coaches here at New Vision WF!

I’ve been working alongside Louis now for 5 years making sure the business doesn’t collapse! Yes, by now I’m sure you’ve guessed it, I’m the fiancé! Haha

I love what we do here and what we stand for. Helping women build physical strength and seeing their confidence increase due to their achievements is always a pleasure to see.

Why I’m so passionate about health and fitness, is simply because of my journey, things haven’t always been easy. Growing up I was always around skinnier friends, with skinnier arms, skinnier legs, and skinnier everything, and this made me insecure about my bigger build. It did affect my mental state but like most people not feeling myself I had to do something about it.

So, I got started on my fitness journey about 5 years ago and loved it. What I didn’t realise at the time was too much training (Cardio) mixed with restrictive dieting only lead me down a skinnier fat version of myself and the cost of losing my period!

This was devastating as I’m sure most women that are planning to have kids would understand the pain and worry, I was facing.

I got more advice from Louis at the time, and he made me focus specifically on strength training, movement (Walking), rest days, and doing what’s called a reverse diet to build my calorie intake back up.

At my lowest, I was 52kilos like a stick (can see bones) only eating around 1200 calories a day and yes with no period. Now I’m a healthy fit, stronger version of me at 60kilos, eating 2200-2500 calories a day with my PERIOD BACK and feeling on top of the world!

It’s a mission of mine to help other women in my community not face similar pain as I did and educate how you can do this a better way than just killing yourself on the treadmill and eating like a rabbit!
